Bamboozle Bursary: Spring 2024

A training programme for freelance practitioners in three Levelling Up for Culture Places.

Bamboozle is committed to creating opportunities for our under-served community of learning disabled and autistic young people to engage in creative activities at their schools. To help us achieve this goal, we are running a training programme for teachers and freelancers in Levelling Up for Culture Places in partnership with three schools – Yeoman Park, Lady Zia Wernher and Priory Woods – supported by Arts Council England. This three-year programme will include this artist training programme in the first year, followed by further opportunities in subsequent years to run residencies in schools alongside Bamboozle artists.

There are 20 bursary places available for freelance practitioners based in (or committed to working in) the North East, North Midlands or Luton regions. A Bursary will provide you with FREE access to the training (typically £500 for a 3-day course) along with £500 to cover out of pocket expenses connected to travel, accommodation, and potential loss of earnings.
