Bamboozle works on a variety of different projects and events each year. These vary in size and scope, from our intimate family residencies to large annual fundraising events. Therefore, the availability of volunteering opportunities varies greatly, and is often very limited.
If we have any specific projects that we are recruiting volunteers for, then these will appear in this section. If there isn’t anything specific advertised, we’d still be really pleased to hear from you if you’d like to be contacted about volunteering when opportunities become available, but please make sure to check back and apply for specific opportunities when they come up.
If your interest in volunteering is time-sensitive, for example, related to a course, please include this in your enquiry.
We are always happy to hear from people who would like to volunteer with us.
The types of roles we usually look for include:
Those interested in volunteering with us must be enthusiastic about Bamboozle’s cause and improving access to the arts for learning disabled children and young people. If the role will involve you working directly with children or vulnerable adults, then we will need to process a DBS check before you can begin.
In our community and fundraising volunteers, the ability to engage with members of the public, work as a part team, and maintain a positive attitude is important. For our those interested in prop-making, having a variety of craft skills and an eye for detail is ideal.
If you’d like to register your general interest in volunteering with us, you can fill in your details on our application form: Bamboozle Volunteer Application Form and email it to info@bamboozletheatre.co.uk.
