Following the success of our family residency at Curve Theatre last year, we’re delighted that The River of Baada returns this July!
“A twisty tale of two halves.
Come and join Whistler and Lucie on their quest to overcome the one who insists that buildings are better than the beauty of Baada!”
This fun filled, action packed, Bamboozle family residency is an adventure suitable for children/young people who might be described as having profound and multiple disabilities and their families.
These immersive, intimate performances are an invitation for families to join us for the day to enjoy a sensory story with characters, puppets, music and song. The children and young people attending are encouraged to make choices throughout the day to develop and impact the storyline of the performance.
To ensure that the young people are able to fully engage and interact with the story we invite a maximum of 4 families to each performance day. Each moment will be tailored to the individual child’s needs by a team of Bamboozle artists. Our artists are highly experienced in adapting to, and interacting with, children and young people who have a variety of complex and differing needs.
The day will be split into two acts with a break between the two halves where families and carers can eat some lunch and mingle in Curve’s cafe.
The River of Baada is not currently booking. Please keep an eye out for future dates.
