Online Training Series: Ways to engage your learning disabled students

An introduction to the Bamboozle methodology and the results it achieves.

What are the benefits of this course?

You will:

discover ways to engage your children and young people in learning
learn some activities that you can use to hook the interest of your young people
hear about language to use that will build immediate rapport with your young people
find out how to avoid using language that turns young people off from engagement
have demonstrated lots of activities that you can decide how to use in your sessions

Features of these sessions:

4 x 90 minute sessions that will be delivered live by Teams each Monday
An opportunity to watch videos of Bamboozle working with teachers in schools
A chance to ask questions and have them answered by Bamboozle’s experienced staff
Time between sessions for you to try out activities and feedback the following week

Dates & times:

Monday 6th October, 4 – 5.30pm

Monday 13th October, 4 – 5.30pm

Monday 27th October, 4 – 5.30pm

Monday 3rd November, 4 – 5.30pm

This course will be recorded and after each session we will provide a link for participants to watch back or catch up.

Price:

£97 for freelance artists / unfunded individuals
£197 for one teacher (or one teacher and their team of classroom assistants) *20% discount available for schools who are new to Bamboozle*
£297 for whole school access (from multiple email addresses as long as they are at the same school)

Access

We always work to make our training courses as accessible as possible. For these online courses this includes:

Scheduling the start time around the school day and with a week between each session to try out techniques
Sharing a recording of session so you catch up or reflect at your own pace
Distributing handouts after each session that summarise the key points
Implementing the tools on Teams (like captioning)
