Jess Hollingshurt: Touring & Digital Programme Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)

Jess graduated from the University of York in 2018 before working as Project Coordinator for the Carers Music Fund, designing and delivering musical projects for female carers across Northamptonshire. Following this, she trained as a Primary School Teacher and thoroughly enjoyed leading music through choirs, ukulele groups and community events. Most recently, Jess completed a Master’s degree at the University of Cambridge, researching inclusive classroom music practice for children with special educational needs (SEN).
From community arts projects to the classroom, Jess is passionate about the powerful difference that creative experiences can make to young people’s confidence, wellbeing and sense of belonging. She is committed to increasing access and participation for learning disabled children and young people, creating opportunities for them to express themselves and have their voices heard.
Jess is delighted to bring together her experience in education, project coordination and inclusive arts practice as part of the Bamboozle team, helping to create meaningful creative experiences for learning disabled and autistic children and young people.
